People of Seer: Meet Lindsey Scott

Welcome back to People of Seer: Philly Edition! In this series, you’ll get to meet our team and learn about what makes them the best around (in our humble opinion).

💡 Lindsey Scott, Operations Lead – Business Strategy & Client Engagement, Philly Food Scene Aficionado

Where do you live? What should we not miss in your city if we come to visit?

I live in Center City, Philadelphia. I’m a huge advocate for Philly’s food scene… there’s so much to explore restaurant-wise.

I’d say you absolutely cannot miss eating the chicken parm at Trattoria Carina in Fitler Square!

How would you describe your job to someone you meet at a dinner party? Tell us a bit about it?

I’d say I work in Operations at a Digital Marketing Agency. My main goal is to implement processes and workflows that enable members of my team to work more efficiently and effectively.

Honestly, sales really challenges me because I am an introvert and I have to really put myself out there. But I actually think it really helps me – flexing that muscle – so I love that element of it. When I’m on, I’m on.

Favorite Memories?

It’s not a specific memory but it’d be times spent at my family’s shore house in Stone Harbor.

That’s where I feel most at home. It’s my happy place if I had to define it, being in Stone Harbor with my family, hanging out, being together and watching my nephews play.

You’ve been at Seer for almost 8 years now! What keeps making this place a special place to work for you?

Yeah, I started at Seer in 2013! I think it’s a few things. I think first it’s the people.

I love the people here. At other jobs I’ve worked at, I’ve had friends, but the community at Seer is different.

All the people who work here are like-minded in their innovation and care – they are solid people. I think that’s because we prioritize culture and who people are in the hiring process which I think it’s really cool.

I think the flexibility is also awesome. Especially during this past year, Seer’s flexibility really made a difference for me. I feel really grateful for that.

I also think what is so special about Seer is the culture of appreciation. I love how we all like shouting people out and making sure if someone does something good for you, let everyone know about it.

You are stranded on a desert island – what are the three things you bring?

My phone (is that cheating?), unlimited snacks, AND my blanky (if you know you know).

Describe your perfect weekend!

My day would start with waking up naturally without setting an alarm.

From there I would get in a really solid workout, then make my way to brunch with friends.

After brunch I would walk home and pass by a lot of cute dogs (which their owners would enthusiastically let me pet). I love dogs!

From there I would take a much needed siesta to fuel up for happy hour and dinner, and if I’m lucky I’m in bed by 11pm :-).
